This is the fourth and final scene of The Synod’s Gambit: In the previous scene, Matthew Savoy escaped the Capital City and made his way to the King’s residence, with strict order to kill the Mayor. Matthew kills the Mayor, who was having dinner with the King, and immediately tries to resurrect him.
